Steven
Spielberg Jewish Film Archive - An extensive, searchable
archive of Jewish documentary films, part of the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem. The archive holds over 3,000 titles
on film and video, including material shot in Israel before and
after the establishment of the State in 1948, motion picture records
of many Jewish communities in the Diaspora and two special collections
relating to the Holocaust. The "Virtual
Film Project" on the site allows PC users using Internet
Explorer 6 (or higher) and Windows
Media Player 6.5 (or higher) to view films contained in the
archive. Currently 112 of the collection can be viewed online; 100
films are to be added annually through 2008, until 500 films are
accessible on the Web.
